Tonight, I found myself attending a concert at the Paris Theatre I was orginally only going to drop people off but what the heck, I enjoy all kinds of music.
There where 5 Bands going to play so the chance to hear 5 types of music was to tempting.

The crowd gathering to get in to see the bands or to see a glimps of them.

The first band up was Peter and The Woods

2006-04-05 Melody Ballroom

Hello I went to the Melody Ballroom where Cascade Blues Ass. had their monthly meeting and listened to some blues from Greg Earl Band.

Here are some pictures of the Greg Earl Band.

One thing I must say.... this band got people up and dancing and also put many a smile on people's face.

Smiles aren't contagious are they? They sure seemed to be this night.

Smiles and good music fills people souls with good emotions.

2006-04-01 Saturaday Market and Jolly Roger

Here we are again.

Today I went down to the Saturday Market and wandered around awhile. I always seem to have fun doing so. I always seem to see people I know and see alot of visual stimulants. There are such vivid colors, handmade items that make you take a second look at them, and the people dressed and food booths galore.

Everyone should take a look Portland Saturday Market you may find that unusual thing that you can't live with out.

If you see him playing, stop and say hi. He has alot of history in him and has been many different countries. Performed magic for many. He has also known a great many people in his lifetime.

The sight of love. Take a moment to savor the moment when you see one like this. If everyone would just relax their walls around themselves and open their hearts. They too could find somebody to love and be loved too.

This young man was very good and I enjoyed watching him. I hope he continues playing guitar as he grows up.

Check this group. I love the retro look they have. I love to see street performers doing their thing. They are doing something they really enjoy doing not because they have to do.

Later that day I headed to the Jolly Roger for some more good food and great music provided by Earl and the Reggae Allstars.
By the way I love to eat good food. I you want to keep me hanging around or to come back, you have to have good food.
I don't think I'm alone on this or it least I hope not.

Ok now who is having more fun? Earl or the girls?

Now I am not sure who is helping who out here by singing backup, but it sure sounded good to me.

I just had to let my artistic side show through for a moment. When it gets so crowded that I can hardly take pictures I content myself by looking for the normal things in life a giving them a fresh perspective.

I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures I have provided you with to look at.
